This year the Muskoka Dance Academy celebrates 30 years in Huntsville and we want to celebrate with you!

Come in and enjoy our facility, meet our teachers and check out a variety of great classes for all ages 2yrs to Adult.  We offer special classes just for toddlers & preschoolers as well as Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Acro, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Ballroom, Musical Theatre, Paula Morgan Ballet Technique…and so much more! Classes commence Monday September 10th, 2012.

MDA Dancers light up the stage at Midnight Madness this summer!

Congratulations to all the dancers who performed in the Muskoka Dance Academy Show as part of this year’s Midnight Madness & Firefly Festival in downtown Huntsville. A big Thank You to Gates Custom Woodworking for stage set up and to all the fathers who helped with tear down. Check out our Gallery Page “Special Events” album for more great pics!

We are pleased to announce that teacher and former MDA student, Miss Kristen, has officially joined the Stage Show at Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville.  Kristen is the newest member of the cast of “Decades” and is scheduled to understudy as a “Swing” dancer this season.  She has been working around the clock along side Decades dance captain and MDA teacher Tasha Bryant.  Kristen is one of five MDA dancers cast to perform in the Spectacular Stage Show at Deerhurst throughout the years and follows in the footsteps of Deerhurst Show Alumni and MDA teachers Miss Sue, Miss Lynn and  Miss Suzanne.  Kristen Long is set to take to the stage on Thursday July 26th and will perform through out the month of August.  Come out and see Miss Kristen dance in “Decades”.

Showtimes:  6:30pm & 7:30pm

Dancers 4-9yrs will be performing two 20 minutes shows. Demonstrations in Jazz, Tap, Ballet and Acro will be sure to please audiences of all ages.

We are excited to bring one of our teachers to Port Sydney this Fall.  Kristen Long will be instructing at the Port Sydney Community Centre Tuesday Evenings October thru June.
