Miss Kristen has landed the position of Full Time Cast Member with the “Decades” show at Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville. After understudying as a “Swing” dancer this past year, Kristen is now going to be dancing along side show veteran Tasha Bryant (Miss Tasha) in the new Deerhurst Stage show scheduled to be up and running this June. We just can’t wait to see our girls light up the stage a Deerhurst Resort this summer!
Kristen Long is one of 13 dancers from the Muskoka Dance Academy to be casted in the Deerhurst Stage Show over the last 30 years. She joins a long list of both dancers and teachers who have helped contribute to its outstanding success!

The Muskoka Community Performing Arts Company is now officially on tour! This is a non-profit Community Company designed to give young dancers performance opportunities. Their first production is entitled “Under the Big Top”. It combines Acro, Musical Theatre, Jazz , Live Singing and 22 dancers age 4yrs-20yrs in front of a fabulous Circus Set. This is a very colourful, cute, up beat show that is sure to please audiences of all ages.
Two Performances are scheduled for January 26th, Port Sydney Winter Carnival and February 9th, Trout Creek, Lady Isabella Nursing Home. Come and enjoy a great show!

The Muskoka Dance Academy’s annual Christmas celebration is being held Saturday December 15th at the Algonquin Theatre in Huntsville. This year’s theme is “Christams at the Circus”. Colour, music, tumbling clowns and dancing animals showcase young local talented dancers. Come and celebrate the Chrisatmas season with us.
